ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Trophy Full Details

Cricket World Cup is going to start soon. Just 63 days left in start World Cup. You will be surprised to know that this time the two teams that could be the World Cup winner. This time two teams can share World Cup trophy.

Actually this time Super Over will not use in ICC World Cup 2015. It’s means that if there is a tie in the final match between final’s team, so both teams will be declared winner and will share World Cup trophy both teams.

The current Cricket World Cup trophy is made up of Silver and gold. The trophy is 60 cm tall and its approximately weight is about 11 kilograms. On the base of trophy, previous winners names are engraved.

The trophy features a globe at top which is held up by three wicket shape columns. The globe color is golden which is a symbol of cricket ball. The column color is silver. The columns shape is made like as stumps and bails which represents the three fundamentals of cricket batting, bowling and fielding respectively.

The World Cup trophy is designed with platonic dimensions that it can be easily recognized from all the angle. The original trophy is held by ICC and replica trophy is awarded to the winners of World Cup Winners. On the original trophy, ICC logo has engraved and on the replica trophy the event logo has engraved.
