ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Trophy Full Details

Cricket World Cup is going to start soon. Just 63 days left in start World Cup. You will be surprised to know that this time the two teams that could be the World Cup winner. This time two teams can share World Cup trophy.

Actually this time Super Over will not use in ICC World Cup 2015. It’s means that if there is a tie in the final match between final’s team, so both teams will be declared winner and will share World Cup trophy both teams.

The current Cricket World Cup trophy is made up of Silver and gold. The trophy is 60 cm tall and its approximately weight is about 11 kilograms. On the base of trophy, previous winners names are engraved.

The trophy features a globe at top which is held up by three wicket shape columns. The globe color is golden which is a symbol of cricket ball. The column color is silver. The columns shape is made like as stumps and bails which represents the three fundamentals of cricket batting, bowling and fielding respectively.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Matches & Time Table Schedule

The ICC ODI World Cup returns to arguably its most picturesque location- Australia and New Zealand- 23 years after a capacity crowd at the MCG watched 39 year old Imran Khan lift the crystal trophy in 1992.

The schedule was declared early on Tuesday in a star-studded event, when ex South African Wicketkeeper and ICC CEO Dave Richardson joined many other luminaries like Mike Hussey, Jayasuriya, Gilchrist, Kapil Dev and Lillee on stage to announce the format.

For 2011 Cricket World Cup ICC announced the scheduled in November 2009 and gave the organizer enough time for preparation.

All the matches of Cricket World Cup 2015 will be played in Australia and New Zealand. They will divide the number of matches between themselves. There is no official information available to us on which match will be hosted by which country. We will update the Cricket World Cup 2015 Schedule here when ICC declare the schedule.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool List

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the 2015 Cricket World Cup schedule on Tuesday. The 14-team tournament will be jointly staged in Australia and New Zealand from February 14 to March 29.

Defending champions India will take on arch-foes Pakistan in their opening match of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.
